>I (M24) wanted to share my first time here and see if this is normal or not. I went to Haulover for the first time on a solo trip to south Florida back in May. I went on a very cloudy day and as a result the beach was very sparse of people. I set up near the end of the beach next to a lifeguard tower and it took me a while to gain the confidence to fully strip down naked. It was a great feeling at first, feeling the breeze on my skin. After about 5 minutes of sitting nude, a guy (probably late 40s early 50s) sets his stuff down no less than 10 feet away from me. I thought this was weird since there was plenty of open space around. I get a little uncomfortable as he takes glances at me and clearly got hard. During this span (no less than five minutes), I also noticed a guy in walking around with a camera in his backpack.

After a few minutes of sitting there, I foolishly decided to go for a swim in the ocean and before I even got to the water, I turned around and saw different guy standing over my stuff. It was clear he was about to take it, if I did not happen to turn around and catch him. It was awkward having to run back to my stuff nude and get it before this guy can take it. He walked away as I reached my stuff, clearly looking at my genitals. I was going to move near a couple that was situated nearby and ask if it was alright if I sat near them due to those men creeping me out, however, as I was walking towards them, the woman started giving the man a blowjob, and decided against it. I moved to a different spot on the beach where no-one else was, near the wooden fence, and put all my stuff right up against the water where I could keep an eye on it and went for a swim. It was absolutely great! It was so nice to be able to swim without the inconvenience of a swimsuit. After about 30 minutes of swimming, I had to leave. I walked down the beach nude and it was great to be in my own skin, the feeling is hard to describe. However, on the way out, there was another man playing with himself at the entrance, which made me uncomfortable as I had to walk right by him to leave. I would like to go back in the future or somewhere similar but I am uncertain due to everything that happened.

TLDR; went to Haulover for the first time and had some creeps ruin the experience for me, but I would potentially give it a second chance in the future.

I am mid 40s m solo traveler frequently in the Miami area. I have always wanted to go spend time at Haulover. However, the fear of being labeled a creeper because I'm a solo male has keep me away. Would it be crazy to ask if I could tag along with someone or a group? I'm free this weekend. Note for clarity I do enjoy adult activities and use reddit as an platform to satisfy those, but this isn't about that. It's about letting go of my old self consciousness. Hi we’re planning a trip and want to make sure we get the most of it. It’s not our first time at a nude beach so we’re not shy. We’re also both young and fit and want to dip our toes in the LS. Is there a best day of the week to go and best area to go to meet other couples?

Also what’s the average age of people there? We actually prefer older couples and guys lol.
