GM4FU/F - There can be a number of different ways and settings this could happen in, but through a stroke of luck, or misfortune you've stumbled upon something that you don't quite understand, and after approaching it, it latches onto you, burying its tendrils into your skin and knocking you unconscious.

When you come to with a massive headache, you start hearing whispers in your mind, echoes of some kind of innate need to spread and spawn, to terraform your environment and assimilate everything around you. Congrats! You've become a host of the Swarm, and you now have a Duty as the Leader and Mother of this local colony to spread the love, by force or by pleasure\~!

FU4FU - Similar to the first idea, but instead of a Swarm parasite infecting you, you're instead taken by a Swarm Queen who was stranded on your planet and used as a host for her larva since she lacks a drone to create a hatchery. She should've culled you for nutrients after the larva spawned, but something caused your infestation to take a different path. now corrupted and power-hungry, you'll take the reins from the Queen and lead the Swarm for your own goals!
