Camera & Glass
Shot this on the Lumix S1II in With Film Emulation. Paired it with my Sigma 24 to 70mm F2.8 DG DN ART II to keep the depth shallow and isolate her from the living room background. Cropped the entire set to widescreen directly using frame guides on the Atomos Shinobi.
Diffusion & Filter
Threw a Black Pro-Mist (1/4) on the front of the lens. That big lantern softbox on the C-stand was intentionally kept raw in the frame to act as an aggressive practical rim/kicker, so the filter did heavy lifting to bloom that core highlight and keep the skin roll-off organic instead of clinical and digital.
Lighting & Space
Pretty simple setup: one LED in a round globe modifier right behind the couch pushing hard warm light across her shoulder/hair, while the ambient tungsten lamps in the room filled the rest of the shadows just enough so they didn't completely crush.
