We're trying something a little different this time.

Chaperone isn't a traditional comic. It's a 43-page illustrated novella, written by Brainvamp and illustrated by Z. Crockett, telling the story of a vampire outbreak that starts during a girls' night out and quickly spreads through an entire summer vacation village.

It's the end of summer. The beaches are still warm, everyone's still partying, and then one woman gets bitten.

From there, things escalate pretty quickly.

The vampire follows her through the village, her cousin and friends get caught up in the chaos, and eventually the whole thing comes back to the old mansion where they're staying with their family.

So if you're looking for one last dose of summer heat, vampires, blood and absolute mayhem before the season is over...
