Clearly, doing dxm on SSRIs is a bad idea. It can and will be very risky.

But why does every other person say either: DO NOT DO IT IT WILL IMMEDIATELY KILL YOU

Or: yea its not great but I did and I was fine lol

I know theres a lot of information on this topic and the risk of serotonin syndrome, but I have yet to find a person who says ”I did it and it was NOT fine”

Chemically/scientifically the risk makes perfect sense as they both increase serotonin. But it always feels like this science is more in the hypothetical, clearly because of the risk.

Thats why I am asking: DO NOT DO DXM ON SSRIS but has anyone had a bad experience with it?
