[TW: Ideological Confusion, Light Conversion Kink] Stuck in the middle and I'm not buying either sides pov really

The truth is that I no longer know who I am. I was a feminist but now seem to be gradually distancing myself from the idea. On the other hand, I am definitely not into all that misogyny that I see around. I just seem to be sitting somewhere in between and trying to figure things out. What really irritates me is the fact that when a feminist starts caring about her appearance, she is seen as failing as a feminist, which makes me feel better and more confident. Why would that make me an “anti feminist” and “internalized misogyny?” Can’t I be in favor of equality and self-respect and still want to look beautiful at the same time? I definitely do not intend to completely disown my femininity but the constant guilt trip does not sit well with me. In addition, the “women are inferior creatures and should bow before men” idea sounds completely wrong to me.

There has to be some middle ground, right?

[TW: Kink Misogyny, Corruption] Taking care of yourself is not a sign of weakness

Just because I put effort into my looks doesn't make me a gender traitor or whatever...
I can want respect and rights for women.
I always stand by is that getting lip filler, taking care of my appearance, and looking good is not against feminism at all. Just because I have big plump lips and put effort into how I look doesn't mean I'm doing it for men. It's crazy how so many guys automatically assume that if a woman looks hot, it must be for them or because of them. Newsflash... it's for me.

Feels all the same to me

I find it kind of boring that most convos on here just end up being the same old rephrased or copy pasted talking point
It feels like there are like 10 ppl on 30 account just spamming the same or similar msgs and tbh its kind of tiring sifting through them all

Being a feminist doesn't mean you have to neglect your looks

Just because you decide to dress up or look pretty doesnt mean you are betraying your feminist beliefs
You can still put in effort and stop caring about what most guys will say.

Does pornography support sexual freedom or does it contribute to the objectification and exploitation of women

Some people see pornography as empowering, while others see it as exploitative
I personally feel like it brings more harm then good

Praying that out of all these lonely and cringe incels there would be a manipulative misogynist that will know better then to spam me with some generic and corny middle school level insult

Be playful.

You'd think a place like this would be overrun with actual misogynists... Instead its mostly incels who cant wait to spam you with their repetitive middle school level insults or whatever dumb thing they think anyone wants to hear

Feels like everyone is a bot sending the same thing over and over again while thinking they are the first one to say it...
