My wife (40F) and I (38M) have been married for 12 years. Yesterday, something happened for the first time. Instead of the usual silence, moans, or dirty talk, we had sex while just... talking. She was telling me about her day, her plans, and life in general, and she just didn't stop once we started.

She absolutely loved it and said she felt incredibly connected to me. For a couple that has been together this long, this "intellectual stimulation" combined with the physical was a huge positive surprise. Is there a specific name for this? Have any other long-term couples experienced this?
