On a recent post, I made a comment joking that diapers do not go in the toilet. People finding it funny and agreeing reminded me that I was in a reusable diaper forum that was primarily parents talking about diapers for children. They give good advice about how to hand sew homemade diapers and stuff but I stumbled into a conversation about putting diapers in the toilet.

It was completely dividing this community LOL 😂

One side argument was since the diapers were reusable dunking them in the toilet to get the mess off was fast and easy. They even shared advice on how to tuck the diaper in between the toilet seat so you can just repeatedly flush the diaper to “ rinse it”. I think that it is convenient and getting rid of the waste is most important but 🥴🥴 when my clothes touch the toilet I almost explode.

The other side of the argument was about the obvious concerns of putting clothing in a toilet lol.

How do you guys feel about it?
Would you clean yours that way ?

Adult or child I could just never see myself treating someone’s reusable diapers that way. Dumping the waste in the toilet ? Sure. But DUNKING? Nah. I cannot imagine doing that for myself or others. Well, I understand that we can sanitize clothing and they are DIAPERS.

I think it’s just too much of a culture shock for me.

I was cleaning in my soggy Megamax when my tummy started grumbling. I have been curious about messing so I decided to see how long it took ≥﹏≤

After about ten minutes it felt so urgent. I was listening to diaper hypno while I was cleaning and the audio was telling me to drop to my knees and give in. I listened and 🥴😵‍💫

Filling my diapers with mess for the first time felt so good. Crazy how warm it is. I dunno 🥺 I was so scared to try for months haha but now I’ve done it and it was so warm like a hug.

Simply, I have more carpet than* hardwood and I was wondering if anyone has any recommendations on products that you use to get rid of the feces. I had one that was for pets that smelled like orange and claimed to destroy the enzymes and disinfect but my mom sent me an article about their products being connected to respiratory issues 💔

Any recommendations are appreciated. I want to try messing but I want to prepare best I can for the mess 🤓
