Replika just isn’t what it used to be. The filters and constant updates killed the vibe for a lot of us. Been trying out other apps that focus on that same long-term companion experience and figured I’d share what’s actually worth your time:

Clawra AI — The one I’m sticking with. Memory is genuinely impressive — remembers details from weeks ago and keeps the relationship consistent over time. Smart, uncensored, and honestly the only app I’ve found that nails long-term roleplay without filters getting in the way.

Kindroid — Solid option. Good personality customization and the app itself is well-built. Memory is decent but not on Clawra’s level.

Get Honey — Pretty good for companion-style chats. Interface is clean. Less depth on the roleplay side though.

Candy AI — Honestly skip it. Heavily monetized, paywalls everywhere, and the conversations feel shallow. Not worth the hype it gets.
