My partner, for valentines day, bought us a few bits and pieces to try out, including an over-the-door swing which looks excellent. We set it up, started trying it out but the door started making some rather concerning noises! Neither of us are are overweight at all, and upon inspection no damage was caused, but turns out all the doors in my (rented) house are basically made of cardboard with laminate over the top.

We were both truly gutted as her place is a shared house with no real way to use it, and there's not a single door (bar the outside doors which are glass) that have much in the way of structural integrity.

Mostly just to vent because it's a frustrating situation, but if anyone has any ideas that'd be wicked
