Hi 👋 we are a married couple (45F/43M) in Australia who have been in the lifestyle for just over 4 years now. It’s been a fantastic thing for us and our relationship and our only regret at this point is that we didn’t start sooner.

Last week hubby was approached by his work about an opportunity in the US with his company. It would be a promotion and a pay rise which is great, and I’m very proud of him for getting selected for this position.

But… part of me is reluctant to say “yes” to the move because I feel like we’ll have to leave all our lifestyle friends behind and start from square one again which is really hard. It’s become such a significant part of our lives that the prospect of having to rebuild that part of our lives from scratch in a new place is daunting.

I guess I’m asking the group if I’m over-reacting or not? And for those who have been in similar situations (moving long distances, leaving people and partners behind) how did you manage to start over again successfully?

I went 2 weeks ago to EDC Vegas which is a huge EDM festival/rave. As a girl, part of the fun is wearing things you would never normally wear in public (think lingerie/microskirts/etc) and I definitely enjoy dressing to get attention when I go

This time, I had been separated from my friends for a while as they’d gone to see another act but I really liked a certain DJ so stayed behind. As I was dancing a random guy approached me and started dancing next to me and cos he was hot I started dancing with him.

We were dancing closely and I could feel his hands move over my body which felt amazing. As he leaned into kiss me, I felt one of his hands move up under my (very short) skirt and a finger slide into me. I was grinding on it as the music continued to play and it felt euphoric. We continued to dance and I came on the dance floor surrounded by 100s of people.

Right after my friends came back to find me and dragged me away but that hour of ecstasy has stuck with me since!
