Preventing orgasm
This is more of a "Help me with my preferences" question, but it relates to my sexual health.
I'm 45 M and married. My wife and I still have lots of sex. 4-5 days a week. Sometimes more.
I got all kinds of hassle in other forums for this, but I don't like the feeling of having an orgasm/ejaculating.
It feels like I'm not in control of my body. It feels like I'm falling. I don't feel strong, I feel "soft". Like, if I just had an orgasm, I wouldn't be able to fight.
I don't use drugs but I've had surgeries for various stuff. I've had IV painkillers like Dilaudid. An orgasm feels like getting painkillers.
I know most men enjoy the feeling, but I don't.
So when we make love, 95% of the time I'm able to stop and pull out before that pre-orgasm feeling hits. Ditto for blowjobs. I'm usually able to tell my wife when to stop before I unload.
But sometimes I mess up and I cum. It's very frustrating. My wife is very understanding about it. She just gets a towel and wipes it up. During blowjobs we have a towel on hand. If I tell her I'm gonna blow we just throw the towel over my penis.
Any strategies to avoid orgasm? I know most of you WANT to orgasm but I don't.
So I guess I'm asking what "hurts" your ability to have an orgasm?
We have a great sex life. But I feel like crap after if I cum. I know sex isn't about me l, and I feel like I'm generally selfless (it's not sex unless she has at LEAST 3 orgasms). And I love the feeling of being inside of her. Just not the orgasm feeling.
Help is appreciated.
EDIT: Yes, I know it's good for the prostrate to cum. But... it's just not something I enjoy.
EDIT: ALSO, my wife does NOT like the feeling of semen. When we were having kids, I'd ejaculate in her. I've had a vasectomy. If we're having sex and I realize I'm going to burst, I pull out and do it on the sheets. So this is another reason why I want to prevent orgasm as much as I can.
