How do you squirt (as a woman)

Okay yall,, I’ve been doing some research on squirting for the past like 2 years and I have some genuine questions (tho its nothing obsessive, I’m just curious because it seems like every woman I come across can do it BUT ME—even my sister can do it and I can’t!!!)

For context, I’m a pretty vanilla person when it comes to sex but when I see or hear stories of women who can squirt, I can’t help but feel like I’m doing something wrong in bed. Of course, this squirting phenomenon graces a handful of women and IM AWARE NOT BEING ABLE TO SQUIRT IS NORMAL—but I would like some tips either way.

So the other day I hooked up with this guy and after sex he fingered me. He reached a certain spot in my privates that felt very sensitive and almost “shocking”, as in I literally felt these shocks of exhilaration as he pressed on it. I’m not sure if that’s the G-spot because I’ve felt my G-spot get touched before (either during penetration or fingering solo) so I have NO IDEA what that area was. For even more context, I was on my fours while he was fingering me,, so perhaps it WAS my G-spot but idfk😭😭

Sooo anyway, there was a point where I felt like I needed to pee (which means I have made progress as I’ve read that was a strong indicator for potential squirting!!) But it never happened? I just kept feeling that same electrifying shock for seconds on end!

I thought squirting happens almost instantly and involuntarily (I know in some cases you’d have to concentrate deeply) but STILL!😔

So could anyone explain to me why it’s taking me so freaking long to squirt despite feeling the common symptoms and build up? As well as some tips so I can actually achieve it,, I feel so close yet so far from my dream fr😭😭😭🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏
