I know we all try to play it cool, but you know what? I want you to hate her. I want you to be proud that you’re better, that I prefer to spend my time talking to you. Sorry. I’m into it. Married, obviously not happily. Let’s just start by accepting that we hate each others’ spouse and if we click with that, I’m sure the dominos will all fall in place as far as interests, hobbies, etc.

Not looking to change your situation, but willing to make us wish we would.

I’m tired of pretending there’s a specific thing I want. Be you. Be male, be female. Be short, be tall. Be fit, be chunky. Just be yourself. Don’t lie, don’t ghost, don’t try to impress. Just come hang out. Tell me about you. I bet we click, I bet we find a fulfillment in our relationship we assumed wasn’t possible stemming from this place. Call me an optimist.
