Do you have any lucky charms?
Hi,
I’m doing a photography project about sex workers’ lucky charms. I would like to collect a variety of objects that hold sentimental value to their owners. If you have a lucky charm and would like to participate, you can take a photo of the object with your phone or camera. If the object is small enough, I would like you to take a photograph in which you hold the lucky charm in your hand or let it rest on your palm. You’re also welcome to get creative and ignore these suggestions. You are fully in charge of the visual choices.
I would love to hear about your relationship with your lucky charm but only if you wish to share. You don’t have to reveal anything about your identity or your work although I’m always keen on hearing/learning about anything you feel like sharing.
