It has been about a week since your Mod Team has implemented AutoMod into the community in an attempt to curb the worst "Mayfly" account offenders.
1.0 was not the smoothest rollout but those issues seemed to have been fixed in 2.0 with the following filters.
Account Age: 7 Days
Combined Karma: 20
So now your Mod Team wants to hear from you.
What have you noticed in the sub?
Do you think the content in the main thread and comments have gotten better and noticeably less spam with these filters?
And above all what would you like to see next from your Mod Team to help further improve this community?
For those who do not read/see the pinned highlight posts.
The Mod Team has reviewed the data gathered over the past few days and has listened to your feedback and suggestions while we performed this live filter test.
We have learned a lot. Some outcomes were good, some were bad, and we realized there is a lot more research and "backroom" testing needed to refine the code to diverse makeup of this community.
Our goal in this version of the filter has added another portion from the first: "Protecting the community from malicious "mayfly" accounts".
To now include exceptions for established members who may not post or comment frequently.
To that end, we have removed specific Post/Comment Karma requirements to focus solely on a user's combined karma score.
The current filter is as follows:
Account Age: 7 Days
Combined Karma: 20
Note: Exceptions are made for accounts that have been active for over a month.
If we find ourselves dealing with a flood of malicious older accounts in the future, the Mod Team will address it then (we are already researching solutions for that scenario). Until then, we hope this version of the AutoMod filter offers a more reasonable balance of protection for the community.
Greetings r/frustratedasian men community. After the public discussion and some code tweaking we hope with work (1.0 live testing and all) we finally have Automod up and running to keep those pesky short term accounts at bay and separate the malicious actors in the community from those who are true community members that need to be protected from them.
To that end the current restrictions to participate in this community are as follows.
Account Age: 7 days
Comment Karma: 15
Post Karma: 25
Edit: Changed requirements to 15 Post 25 Comment Karma after feedback.
We went with a more conservative barrier to entry to start to see what that will affect and will change the bots parameters as necessary.
For those who have been active in the community who not can due to these restriction. We are sorry this hurts you and wish you luck in building yourselves up to meet these requirements.
With that said as the mod team has been pretty heavy handed with the ban hammer on those who violate the community rules, operating in a one strike you are banned in many cases, we will listen to those that put in an application to appeal their ban so long as they prove they have not only learned the errors of their ways, read and understood the community rules but also have shown in their conduct and reddit history that they are members worth having within the community.
As the last thing anyone wants is a bad apple being let back in as we try to better this sub and its community.
So those who have been banned and still lurking around this is you one chance to get back in. Send a mod message proving the above and your appeal will be considered.

Reddit Rules: https://redditinc.com/policies/reddit-rules
This is a reminder to the community to follow the rules.
Ignorance is not an excuse and for the Community Rules we do not operate on a Strike System or a Slap on the wrist. We do ban first offenders, even if you think its a small infraction if its against the rules you will get met with a harsh punishment.
Reddit Rules are another thing many here need to read and keep in mind not just for their sake but the communities as a whole. As we are a NSFW community that caters to a bit of an extreme kink. So there is a fine line that even your mod team is working to better help define with some new systems (though ideas are always welcomed)
Big Reddit Rules to keep in mine are #3 and #1.
Mainly for #3, don't post other peoples information.
Some of you have been sharing Instagram account, screen shots, and pics of family members, crushes, Ex's and the like when you share your story. Just change their names and use some existing public images of those that closely remember their body shape to protect their identities and you will not be in violation of this Reddit Rule. It is that easy.
Rule #1 is a bit harder as many of you enjoy doing some public play in the comments of wanting to be degraded/do the degrading.
But some of you have been starting to take it a bit too far which could count as being specifically hateful and violate that rule when you are just being perverted.
Your Mod team is working on a way to hopefully make such interactions more consensual so you perverts can have your fun play while being on the right side of this rule but till then we ask that you tone it down or very least ask or advertise that you want to engage in such talks in the comments.
With that out of the way. Give your feedback and ask your questions.
