I've been with someone with that dynamic before and I absolutely loved it. It was at a time in my life where neither of us were mentally well enough to have a healthy longterm relationship.

I've done a lot of work on my mental health. I'm in a good place now. I want to start dating a looking for a life partner. I'm divorced but never had that kind of relationship/dynamic with my ex.

I want the dynamic, but I'm struggling to seek it out. It feels like the men I find are ones on the extreme side of the spectrum. Something I'm far from interested in.

Any advice?
