Whats a good way to know if something has become illegal? I can't find any good way. I'm wanting to know the current legality of things like and wondering what else should be tracked also

Any ideas welcome. I tried MIT but its not very strong at all, same with kratom for me.
I thought about maybe trying tianeptine. Any ideas
7OH has worked well at from like 5mg for a 15 minute buzz, 10mg maybe half an hour, 20 a couple hours maybe? With kratom I only get like a 15 minute buzz and has to be taken with a day break so I can only take it every other day, at at dosages of 12 grams (+ nausea often). Will MIT be better than kratom for me?
