a religious girl at a guest house
In the guest house where I work as a guard, there's this religious girl who stays here. She looks really good. She constantly says my name over and over (like "Ron, Ron, Ron" like that Potter Puppet Pals video, "The Mysterious Ticking Noise," look it up, it's hilarious). She’s always looking for interactions, like offering to make me tea every time she makes some for herself.
She comes here every few weekends with this patron/mentor figure, and it’s like the mentor is trying to set us up. Once she suggested we play "Two Truths and a Lie," and she keeps asking me questions about relationships and stuff. I tried to move things forward, once she offered tea again before I finished my shift, and I said something like I'd rather grab a meal with her sometime this week. I asked about her schedule, but she was "busy" all the time, so I got the hint.
This weekend she showed up again. I had already forgot about her, but then she asked for something related to the place, so I suggested we go look for it together. We went up the stairs and she refused to pass me, insisting on walking behind me. On the way down, she again resisted walking in front of me or next to me through her body language. So I said fine, and decided to take the elevator instead. She reacted with "No, no, no!" (because of Shabbat), and when we met downstairs, she asked if I was offended by her. I told her I wasn't.
I’m starting to think she’s just using her sexuality and "niceness" to try and bring me back to religion or just to get attention. My thought is that it’s not really about me specifically if she acts like this with me, she probably does it with anyone in a similar situation, and I'm just the only guy here. It might also be influenced by her patron/mentor, maybe she gets more validation from her by doing this than she’s actually looking for from me. That mentor also has a certain demeanor.
I decided to distance myself a bit and focus on my own things with fewer interactions, and then she said to her patron in an amused tone: "He’s in a 'in anger' with me" (he's sulking/giving me the cold shoulder). Later, the patron came to me with some complaint, and the girl stood behind her making funny faces as if to agree with her (like "the service here is so terrible") until it made me laugh and broke the distance.
On one hand, it’s nice having a beautiful girl playing with you; it provides "pre-selection" with other women here. On the other hand, it feels like fake sexual games that just waste my time and energy, and it doesn't seem like anything real will come of it.
