So I was experiencing loss of sensitivity in my penis, so I started trying prostate play. I realised sometimes it feels pleasurable right from start but other times it just doesn't hit and the butt starts hurting before any good sensation arrives. Does the prostate or the surrounding areas get numb eventually just like the penis?

I am aware the prostate is just the internal continuation of the penis before it reaches the bladder, so its the same part basically.
