Should I change my hotel I work from after this encounter?

Hi everyone, I’m not sure if I’m just paranoid or if the hotel staff are getting “suspicious”

I work from a hotel once every week, sometimes one every two weeks.

Today one of the workers was walking around the premises.

When I left my room to go on an outcall, one of the workers (a man) from the hotel asked me “what I do” for work and where I travel from. I’ve been here approx 5 times.

There are CCTV cameras everywhere.

It’s legal to do SW where I am - should I just continue working here or just go somewhere else? I pay taxes and everything, I just want to keep everything private.

I really like this hotel so I don’t really want to relocate. It’s well priced, and good quality. But I’m also very paranoid / particular.

I only ever have a maximum of two men visiting me every night as I get a lot of enquires and prefer longer bookings.

I had a client last night try and “save” me from sex work, telling me I deserve better, and that he wants to “date” me and “look after me” etc etc.

Proceeds to offer me $500 for an overnight which is $2500 less than my normal rate 🥱

So if I mathematically divided that by the amount of time I would have hypothetically spent in this deluded man’s booking, I would have made less money per hour than what he gets from whatever job he is employed as.

Has anyone else had these clients that try and stop you from doing it?

Sex work is not that bad.

But it’s hilarious that it’s clients like that which make it bad!

Keep behaving like that and I’ll quit for good (which is what you said I should do!) haha
