I just love nude hikes!

I wish I could do them more often. But once a week isn't bad.

Went skinny dipping for the first time today

It was at the end of a grueling 3.5 mile hike through hilly forest but it was completely worth it. Even the same distance back was worth it.

I went skinny dipping for the first time after a grueling hike.

The spot required me to hike more than 3.5 miles. But this was totally worth it.

Went skinny dipping for the first time.

This was a big step for me. I adopted naturism/nudist as a way to grow more confident in myself and around others. I outed my insecurities here so I could name what I needed to change to improve my mental health. Then I started setting goals. Not a dramatic grandiose plan of philosophical dribble. But practical steps. A bucket list if you will. Things I wanted to accomplish that would help me build my confidence.

Skinny dipping in a natural body of water was one. I chose it because I figured what better way to experience nature than to relax in cool waters after a grueling hike. Well, it took some searching, but I finally found a spot to enjoy. I have way more to commemorate this day but these were some of my favorites photos I took today.

Overall, I found a place I can relax and unwind at. It was murky today thanks to a recent storm system. But I didn't mind. It was the cool feeling and the rushing water that worked wonders on my nerves. Plus, the wide open river has great scenery.

I Honestly Hate the Way I Look

This is a honest post, so fair warning. As of the day I'm writing this, I hate the way I look. Not that others haven't expressed that I'm still attractive. I'm a gay man who has had plenty of other guys express how much they be with me. But I hate the way I look because I remember what I looked like before I gained the weight. Before I allowed depression to affect not just me internally but me on the outside. I was very athletic, sorta had abs, a muscular build. All of that. But now, it's under a layer of fact that reminds me of how i self-destructed.

At the start of this year, I vowed that I would finally seek help for my mental affliction and help myself by taking the painful but necessary steps to retake my body. The first pic is me taking a snap shot of my starting weight. The second is me putting actions behind words but also taking a moment to just be naked outdoors, one with nature and stuff. I am a nudist. I am because I learned that before I can change my body to fit what I know it can be, I must first live it and not be ashamed of it. Rather treat it like the work of art it is, flaws it is. It's my canvas and this is only the beginning of a masterpiece.

I hope to be active here because I want to document my fitness journey as well as my path towards mental and emotional recovery. I've spent so many years negative about myself and life. Now I want to be positive and feel positive.

I'm curious to know how many of y'all became nudists.

I started mainly to gain confidence in my own body, find freedom being in my most natural state, and to just enjoy feeling the sun on my skin (all of it). What about you?

Gathering twigs for a camp fire

When I went camping, I decided to go nude the entire time. But it inevitable gets cold. So it was time to build a fire.
