Underwear
One of the most annoying problems that I have is finding underwear that actually supports me. Seriously. Men’s briefs are apparently designed under the assumption that every guy is carrying around a goddamn fire hose, because almost every pair I try ends up feeling loose, empty, and unsupported in the crotch.
I’m not even talking about insecurity here, it’s literally a comfort issue. I’m small enough that regular men’s briefs don’t hold me in place properly, and I constantly have to adjust because there’s just too much extra room in the pouch.
I actually mentioned this to my PA during a checkup because I was tired of dealing with it. She asked if my waistband size was otherwise correct, and when I said yes, she suggested trying boys’ XL briefs since the crotch area is proportioned smaller.
I was reluctant because frankly it was embarrassing, but I finally bought some. And, she was right. The smaller pouch actually supports me way better than men’s briefs ever have. No extra empty fabric, no constant adjusting, everything stays in place.
Still kind of sucks that this is even something I have to think about though. Anybody else run into this problem or found any brands or styles that work better for smaller anatomy?
