I’ve been thinking about the psychological side of going through periods of chastity. Do any of you regularly take time to check in with yourselves? How you’re feeling, what’s been on your mind, what you’ve accomplished, and how this experience is impacting you in a positive way.
On my end, I sometimes find it difficult staying focused, not feeling constantly mentally overstimulated, keeping on track… So I’m wondering if setting up a small check-in ritual might help me stay aligned with my goal. Reminding myself of how far I’ve come, being proud of reaching X days, and avoiding giving in to impulsive moments.
Do any of you do this, and how often ? Do you have a specific ritual (introspection, writing, meditate, etc.) ? How do you create the right mindset or environment for it ? And does it actually help you in the long run?
