Week 4 update: revision circumcision + scrotal webbing excision

I don’t want to bore anyone here. I received several messages saying my updates are very detailed and too long for Reddit, so I’ll keep this one shorter. Anyone with specific questions can message me directly.

I’m now exactly 4 weeks post-op.

Healing has made a clear step forward. The circumcision line is completely closed, dry and stable. There are only three small areas where the deeper/subcutaneous healing is still finishing underneath the surface.

The small 12 o’clock area is also closed and dry. It still feels slightly tense because this is the pole suture area and the start/end point of the circumcision line. According to my surgeon, that is expected.

The ventral/scrotal scar is improving after removing a retained suture fragment with a small knot/loop. The hematoma/swelling below the scrotal incision is getting smaller and more mobile. The separation between shaft and scrotum already feels much better. Amazing to me after 63 years having this together bonded.

The main issue now is ventral tightness. On the dorsal side it feels tight, but on the underside it is extremely tight. At the moment there is no shaft skin movement at all over the ventral scar. When I try to move the skin, either the glans is pulled, or the scrotal/abdominal skin moves instead. Wow, so extremely tight, that I miss 1 cm erected length… 😟

My surgeon expects this to loosen over the next 2–3 months with regular scar mobilization.

Current plan:

- scar mobilization twice daily, 5–10 minutes

- masturbation is recommended as scar mobilization, as long as it is controlled and not too aggressive

- use enough lubrication to reduce friction on the scar and mucosa

- consider a MyHixel or a not-too-tight Fleshlight-type sleeve as a soft and controlled way to mobilize the scar

- light support during the day if swelling increases

- mostly unwrapped at night

- give penetrative sex a little more time

My surgeon said a soft sleeve or MyHixel could be one of the common ways to mobilize the scar, especially if used gently for about 10–15 minutes. I hope I will climax in that short time… will see in the next days!

Overall, this now feels like the transition from wound healing to scar remodeling.

Last 4 Pictures are BEFORE recirc and scrotal excision…

I’m 63M, now day 25 after a planned recircumcision plus scrotal webbing release.

Healing is going well so far. Scar is dry, swelling is limited, no infection signs, and my surgeon is very satisfied. I’m still not masturbating or testing anything sexually — way too early.

But I wanted to share something about the sensations…

Since the revision, the underside is much tighter, especially because of the webbing release and the ventral correction. During spontaneous erections at night, the remaining inner skin and frenulum delta get pulled tight in a completely new way.

The interesting part is that this tension itself creates sexual feedback. The erection starts, the skin tightens, the sensation increases, and then the erection gets stronger. It feels like the tightness becomes part of the stimulation.

I did not have this after my first circumcision. Back then I had more direct stimulation and better control, but not this strong ventral tension effect.

My frenulum delta was preserved, which was very important to me. The old sharp pulling pain is gone, but the sensitivity is still there and feels more focused now.

The scrotal webbing release also already feels like a big functional improvement. The scrotum is much more separated from the shaft, even though everything still feels unfamiliar and tight.

Still early, still healing, still sensitive — but I can already understand why some men are fascinated by tighter cuts. I don’t want an extreme result, but the new tension sensation is definitely powerful.

Anyone else who went from tight to very tight or had a recirc — did the tension itself become part of the arousal for you?

Day 25 healing update: recircumcision + scrotal webbing release, 63M

I’m 63M, now day 25 after a planned recircumcision combined with scrotal webbing release. This is a follow-up to my day 18 update.

Overall, healing is going well. My surgeon is very satisfied with the current stage, especially considering my age and that this was a revision combined with webbing repair, not just a simple circumcision.

Wound / scar:

The circumcision line is dry and mostly closed. There are still a few small superficial pockets along the scar line, but no oozing, no wet areas and no signs of infection. My surgeon explained that with deeper/subcutaneous sutures, some areas can heal from the deeper layer upward and may take longer than regular external stitches.

Swelling:

Swelling is quite limited now. The mucosal swelling is slightly more visible on the right side and in the frenulum area, but overall much less than I expected. The “donut” swelling is getting thinner.

Revision details:

About 5 mm of inner foreskin and about 8–9 mm of shaft skin were removed. The previous ventral V-shape had to be removed because preserving it would have required removing more of the frenulum delta, which I absolutely wanted to keep. The incision lines were discussed in detail before surgery and were followed as agreed.

Sensitivity:

The remaining inner skin and frenulum delta still feel sexually functional. The old sharp pulling pain from the frenulum breve is gone. The scar line and deeper suture points are still touch-sensitive, so no masturbation or sexual testing yet.

Webbing release:

The ventral side and the fixation/anchor points are still the tightest parts and still pull during stronger erections. The hematoma/lymphatic swelling around the scrotal base is slowly getting softer and smaller.

Biggest positive change:

The scrotum is already much better separated from the shaft. When I urinate standing up, the scrotum no longer gets pulled forward with the penis like before. It still feels unfamiliar, but functionally it is exactly what I wanted.

Still early, still tight, still sensitive — but so far it seems to be healing in the right direction.

For anyone who had a recircumcision or scrotal webbing release as an adult: when did the ventral tightness and pulling during erections start to settle?

Still looks rough, not gonna lie 😅

Swelling is still pretty heavy and everything feels tight, especially on the underside where the webbing was cut. That part is definitely the limiting factor right now.

The white stuff is zinc ointment, not skin peeling. Using it to protect a few small spots on the scar that open a bit during night erections.

Red patches on the glans are psoriasis (had that before), just flaring up from irritation.

No signs of infection though – just the usual:

swelling, tightness, weird sensitivity.

Big difference already: the webbing is gone. Even with all the swelling, the separation is way better than before, so that part seems to be working.

Right now it just feels stiff and restricted, but I guess that’s normal at this stage.

Anyone who had a similar revision + webbing release – how long did it take for things to loosen up and feel normal again?
