We recruit a ton of couples for our group chat on multiple different platforms and we tend to find the same mistakes time and time again from couples who could do a bit better, so here are some somewhat obvious tips and the explanation for why they are the best practice:

1. Do not lead with a photo of the male

This will get you skipped more often than anything else as it implies heavily that it is the husband’s interest and fantasy and not the wife’s.

2. The first photo should be one with both of you next to each other.

Separate individual photos of the man and the woman send alarm bells off than anything else that a couple might not be serious about swinging. So many scammers out there. For added benefit take the photo whilst holding a sign indicating that both parties know what the photo is used for. This is a great strategy on most aps that don’t allow nudity (due to government meddling under the guise of anti human trafficking legislation. Most credit card companies put pressure on aps to not allow adult content)

3. Take multiple full body photos with the two of you next to each other in swimming suits, normal, clothes, and nude.

Different places will allow for these photos to be used. Tag your username for the ap, website, or Reddit so that goons can’t distribute them. Full body pics attracts the right type of couples to you: fit, average, and fat let it be seen if you want success don’t try to hide if you’re overweight that’ll lead to more awkward situations than complete honesty could ever cause.

4. Write in simple language what it is that you’re looking for and what you’re not looking for.

Nobody wants to read multiple paragraphs about your theory on idiosyncratic dynamics of pansexuality. Also, Sydney University is going to take your data for their study regardless of whatever legal copy pasta that you write.

5. Do not use a photo of your cat, horse, sword collection, gun collection, motorcycle, car, cash, gold and silver, drugs, or outdoor scenery for any of your pictures on a swinger site.

So last weekend was our big annual meet up for our couples only group chat, it was a 12sum. We managed to only have two cancellations and we had about 4 new couples show up along with a repeated showing from a couple that we played with previously. We honestly did not expect our actual number to stay as high as it did, we were accustomed to the idea that people would back out without saying anything. Instead of that happening, everyone kept their word and showed up. 

To say that we did things perfectly would be false, we did make a few mistakes that we will correct next year. We didn’t get a hotel chosen in time and this lead to other couples not being able to get a room on the same floor or near us. Most of the couples were local so this managed not to be a problem. So we pretty much got confined to a single room which was both extremely hot to see that many people naked at once, but at the same time it was also a bit overwhelming for a lot of couples. 

We and the couple who we had previously had a fun time with had already played that evening and were already nude when everyone started to arrive. Most of the couples had communicated to us a similar time of arrival and at first it was 3 couples in the room, then a 4th came, and after a bit of chatting a 5th came. After enough time we had our 6th couple show up. That’s when we determined that everyone who RSVP’d was there and we got our group picture in.

Once we had our group pic done, the 3rd couple started to play with themselves and other couples also started getting undressed and in a more festive spirit. This was several of the couples’ first time ever experiencing any for of group sex or nudity. It was intense. We had several swaps going, but my wife was so overwhelmed that I couldn’t maintain an erection and I pretty much just started getting some pics and videos for everyone so that they can use it in the future for their own self promotion. Yep, even the experienced couples will get nervous about things. In this case it was too many in such a confined space.

Our group is focused on providing experiences for those on the heavier side and the conventionally less attractive side of couples. Nobody is Ken and Barbie and we take a lot of joy in our group chat that we can share pics and videos of ourselves with people who look similar to us and find ourselves attractive. So for a lot of the couples they really liked not being the biggest one in the room for the first time and not being worried that they would offend someone asking to play. 

Despite the cramped conditions, several couples really broke the ice with each other and we believe that they’ll be a lot more likely to schedule some fun with each other couple on couple at a future date.

We decided that we are going to return to a resort environment instead of a hotel next year because it’ll give us all a lot more breathing room. Most of our couples except one were from Reddit. So anyone saying that you can’t swing on Reddit just isn’t doing it right. Mistakes were made with the venue and time of year (father’s day weekend), but next year we will be an even better event. Group communication and mutual promotion work. Always tag your nudes with your Reddit username and definitely work with other couples to post pics of play as this is the most effective method of showing that you and the other couples are serious about meeting up.
