Am i overthinking this comment?
I (F19), work with (M27). I used to be a student and I now work as a TA (he has been a TA for a few years). He texts me frequently, especially after we’ve interacted to strike up conversation or thank me. Im leaving my job so we had a farewell dinner with my team.
He implied that we should keep in touch and get coffee together, and then sent me a long text after I got home. It was about how much he admires my perspective on life, and how I inspire him to be a better person. He also described the way I made him feel when we first met around three years ago?
“when we first met, you just had (and still have) a really warm and open presence. And to me, it's really unique because I don't have very many people in my life with that same quality of energy. And it's attractive in the sense that it's so easy to speak with you, and I feel very compelled to connect with you.”
I’m not really sure how to process this text because it could be platonic but he’s also a very intentional speaker. What way would you interpret this interaction, and is it potentially flirty?
question for guys: would you speak this way to a girl and consider it platonic?
