vent: new dom / unsure of next steps
this is my first post here, but for context i’ve been a sub in many long term relationships in the past and am now solo poly. i recently met and hooked up with an amazing new soft dom. we talked about boundaries / what we both like / hard limits / safe words / how we both got into kink and what we wanted long term and both agreed that we’re not looking for exclusivity but his answer was more vague than mine.
anyways, i had a great time, he made me feel super safe and great aftercare. he texted me later when he got home, i replied in the morning id love to see him again and a few other texts but he just replied to my other texts and didn’t mention if he wanted to see me again :(
idk if it’s sub drop for the new dynamic for me even with after care or if im just getting to far ahead of myself wanting to have a consistent dom in my life again / overthinking that he didn’t have a good time :(
if so, i’d rather him just tell me he doesn’t wana see me again so i don’t have to drive myself nuts :(
