[Request] Do AI Chats Ever Truly Feel Natural?

I keep wondering if AI chats ever fully get past that “this is a system” feeling.

Most of the time, things start off pretty natural. The flow is smooth, the replies make sense, and it almost feels like a real conversation. Then at some point, something slips. It might be repeating ideas, losing track of earlier details, or responding in a way that feels a bit too structured.

I saw someone bring up Ohchat in a discussion and it made me curious, but I’m not sure if it really changes that experience or if it’s basically the same pattern with a different interface.

For people who actually use these tools regularly, is there a point where an AI genuinely starts to feel natural for longer conversations, or are we still in that early phase where it always eventually breaks the illusion?

[45M4F] Australia Is it just me or are AI chat platforms starting to feel more immersive?

I do not know if it is just me, but the last few AI chats I tried felt slightly more natural than what I remember from a few months ago.

Still not perfect, but the responses feel less rigid and a bit more adaptive.

I briefly checked one called Ohchat after seeing it mentioned somewhere, but did not spend enough time to really judge it.

Curious if others are noticing the same improvement across platforms or if it depends on which one you use.
