How safe is it to meet someone at a hotel? By “safe,” I mean the risk of a police sting. Some women have 15–20 reviews on certain websites—could they still unknowingly be involved in a sting? Also, would hotels ever contact the police if they noticed multiple visitors in a day? (For example, if you were the fifth person visiting.)

Which brings me to my last question:

Is it appropriate to reach out and ask whether the meeting location is a hotel or a private apartment/house?

Is it also acceptable to ask roughly where the hotel is located?
