Ended up with a free—but DoA—Handy 2. Any longshots to revive it or convert to plugged-in only?
Long story short, I ordered a Handy 2 from Lovehoney (had a narrow window while my family’s out of town, and they had next-day shipping), but it was DoA. LH is now out of Handy 2s, so I got a refund rather than an exchange, but I didn’t have to send the dead back.
So, as the title says, any long-shot ideas to get it working, even if it’s only when it’s plugged in? (I’d just order directly from Ohdoki, but even Express shipping would be risking having to explain a package to my wife that I don’t want to explain.) I tried all the combinations of plugging and unplugging and the reset and power buttons that Google AI could come up with (with two known-good, sufficiently powerful chargers in two different outlets), but if you’ve got a Hail Mary idea, I’ve got nothing to lose.
