You're on edge. It's been so long since you've had a win and it sometimes feels like you are drowning. There is always more work to do, more things to worry about, more disappointment in the news. Today is one of those days where it can just all feel hopeless. It is so hard to be true to yourself. It is so hard to keep moving forward every day. But it's so easy to fall back into bad habits.

You know you should stop reading. You should put your phone away. You still have a chance to have a productive day. The weather is nice. There are friends you could text. You could get your mind off of things.

But you don't want to. You keep reading. You keep ignoring the outside world. There's a pit in your stomach as you read. It shouldn't be this way but you just can't stop. You don't want to be weak but you need to be good.
