[M4F] Hogwarts (Legacy?) RP (Literate, 2-4 Paragraphs)

Greetings Wizards, Witches and all members of the magical world!

I'm 26 years old - All characters must be 18+

I am looking for someone to write an exciting long term story set within Hogwarts and it's surrounding countryside. There will be drama and hardship aplenty as - like every year - dark forces attempt to besiege the ancient castle and lure it's inhabitants with promises of forbidden power!

The story so far is rather open, I must admit. I have ideas but I believe it's best to discuss the plot on an individual level so both sides can get the most out of it. That said I am not beyond leaning on direct references or time frames such as the Hogwarts Legacy Game for example.

Usually I prefer to introduce my character in detail over the course of the first few paragraphs of the roleplay. However, this time there is one thing I want to highlight about them right away because it is rather significant and I don't want to blindside people later on:

They are in a sense unable to cast spells to an almost squib-like degree. What sets them apart from a squib is their ability to produce potions, a field in which they are a prodigy - to the point where they will over time learn to meld spells into usable potions.

I hope this idea sparks your interest, please do feel free to engage me with your ideas and any questions.

Thank you very much :D
