Are there any fics where an Affini gets emotionally NTR'd?
I was re-reading through Divaricated again because it's fantastic and I got to the part where >!Thatch gets suuuper possessive over Katie!< and it's amazing and wonderful and fantastic, but it made me realize that I've never seen a fic where an Affini didn't get the floret-to-be once they were in their clutches. The closest I've ever seen to this happening is in Kanagen's >!Freedom's Ember!<, and while the part in question was certainly emotionally crushing and fantastically written, it didn't really hit like a proper NTR. There was no taking being done, and that just wasn't the sort of story the work was telling.
With how fiercely protective, possessive, and emotionally invested Affini are to their Florets I feel like an NTR-esque plotline would hit really hard. Affini will do absolutely anything to protect their Florets, but I've never actually read them having to actually struggle to claim a Floret beyond coming to terms with their own emotions. Though I do think it'd be really hard to pull off an NTR plotline properly, with how well adjusted Affini society is and how bureaucratic they are, it basically just leaves a small span of time when an Affini is being hesitant about submitting a Notice of Intent to Domesticate to work with.
I've already searched Ao3 for HDG stories with the NTR tag, but there weren't any, so if there are any that exist they're untagged.
Do note that I'm looking for more of a usurpation sort of aspect than a directly sexual aspect. Something kind of like KallidoraRho's Archon in the Mechsplo community.
