Brixadi to Sublocade Advice

I started on Brixadi last week (96) after being stable on 4mg/day for 26 straight months. My intent was to be done completely and looking for an off ramp. 96 made me high as a kite and had to take a week (so far) off work due to nodding and obvious over medicated.

Any experience or suggestions going from Brixadi 96 to Sublocade 100? Cant seem to find any conversation material between the two. And if I’m going to go through these types of things swapping, I might as well be on the one that’s proven to work with stopping altogether.

Been very difficult to find similar experiences since it seems almost nobody has gone with Brixadi (not sure why my Dr chose that for me).
But I’m very much needing a better path forward.

TIA

4MG/Day to 96/Month

I'd been going to telehealth for 26 months and was stable on 4mg/day subs. I was prescribed 8mg but only took 4 so l've got quite the healthy stash. Anyway, I've been trying to get off it for over a year and have failed with trying to taper, even trying 3.5.
I've been looking at Sublocade for a very long time for this. Reading so many success stories.
I need to be off because of the side effects. I'm emotionally and intellectually blunted and have really bad memory recall and no energy or motivation.
I accidentally got into Tianeptine which lead to Subs. I have zero concerns of returning and used subs as an emergency move.
I had finally done research and found a somewhat local Dr who does Sublocade & Brixadi. My intake was a good hour where she talked a lot about Sublocade.. but she ended up recommending Brixadi. Mainly because there are more dosing options (flexibility) and it's less painful (no crystallization etc too).
So we ordered it and set an appointment for 2 weeks.
Two days ago I went in for my first shot. Holy crap have I been nodding off and out of my mind for the past 48 hours. Way too strong for my dose. My Dr knows my intent is to stop, and said likely my third dose we'll go down to 64. But now I'm worried.. did my entire journey just get messed up being thrown into a much larger dose?
And am I going to stabilize anytime soon so I can actually work?
My wife is freaking out too seeing my reaction.. way over medicated..
Anyone have advice or experience switching to a monthly shot from a 4mg (or low) Suboxone dose??

I'm pretty worried that this is all backfiring on me and I'm getting even further into it instead.
My hope was that 96 Brixadi went good so I could go over to Sublocade easy and just stop.. I feel like I messed that up!
I'd appreciate any feedback. Or if there's a better place I should post this
