When I opened the bag and put the bud on my scale, I jokingly said to my wife that the trim staff at Calypso must have called out sick and left the janitor to finish the job, so I grabbed my tweezers and got to work. Once I did, spectacular shades of green revealed themselves, laced with red hairs and coated in a sticky blanket of trichomes. Although trimming further made the big fluffy buds break apart into smaller buds. So I humbly apologize to the trim staff and janitor for my initial reaction.

The aroma had a somewhat sweet, gassy presence with a taste that followed suit. A tad sweeter than I was expecting.

The effects were a creeper that settled into a relaxed, balanced head and body high. Not the kind that has you cemented to the couch or peeking out the blinds wondering if there’s aliens hiding in the trees, but pleasant and enjoyable nonetheless.

At $27.20 for their 4.2g bountiful bag on sale at Liberty Cranberry, it’s a pretty solid value for fresh sticky flower with 3.705% terpenes. I just wish the effects stuck around a little longer.

Sherbie the Love Nug is a sativa-dominant flower from Calypso Enterprises that really shines in appearance and effects.

The buds rolled up adorned in a trichome kaleidoscope of lush, contrasting purples and greens with frosted white bumpers. But when I broke it up it was like someone slammed the brakes and my face hit the windshield. Light and dry where it should have felt dense and sticky. But I didn’t bug out.

The aroma had an orange smoothie sweetness with a splash of petrol. The smoke stayed smooth with a bright white ash at the end. A great indicator of a proper nutrition level and a thorough flush.

Where this flower really stands out is the effects. It hit me fast, within about 5 to 10 minutes after 3 to 4 hits off my Chillum pipe. The high came on strong and it came on Herbie, I mean happy.
The effects were uplifting, anxiety easing, and very much a get-shit-done kind of high.

The price was really good for the eighth as well. Regular price at Dark Matter in Pittsburgh is $27, and with my 30% first-time new patient discount, the final price came to $18.90. Even with the dry cure, this one still delivers where it matters most.
