Audio estim help needed. Which box to get next?
I have been interested in audio estim for a long time. I have a 2B box but it has started giving me issues so I purchased a K250-4S from Kink with the hopes of it replacing my dying 2B. Sadly, audio support has never been enabled on the Kink box and I'm becoming very doubtful it ever will. It is a nice box otherwise.
My biggest complaint with the 2B is how it handles audio files. With the way it processes sound files, it tends to "even out" the signal. This kills much of the nuance of audio files.
I have looked at a lot of other boxes that don't process sound the same way a 2B does. Most of the ones that I know work, are home built and I don't have the electrical skill to build one. And if I did build it, I certainly wouldn't trust wiring it up to my privates!! LMAO.
So what is everyone's recommendation if the biggest criteria is being able to handle sound files without filtering or dampening them out? Any insight is greatly appreciated!
