After testing it extensively for a day, I kinda missing ruby! Not because it’s not strong, but the heat core increases my consumption and I can’t take a slow long lesson. It’s done by one hit extraction, which is not ideal and the flavor is horrible compared to ruby.
More experimenting is needed, like combining balls with heat cores, or putting balls inside the heat core.
Heat core change how I use tempest, I can hit it like a J, I can one hit extract with a bubbler! Truly amazing! I can’t do that with ruby!!!!
All the balls are weak and to truly make Tempest 2 shine, heat core fix the core issue. Truly the best upgrade!
The little extra body high is what I am missing, after comparing to Ruby, I find that while Ruby tastes better but vapor is less dense, and the flavor can be too strong/harsh for big inhale.

I bought the Tempest 2 having the impression that it’s a portable ball vape, and after trying out the heat core today. I feel like I prefer the heat core more, but does that defeat the purpose of a portable ball vape? I still love my balls! I am currently using Ruby balls. Can any ball mimic Heat Core’s performance? Would I assume stainless steel?
My heat core arrived today, and I am bias towards balls since this is what makes Tempest special!
Oh boy after trying it, the cloud is bigger compared to my ruby. I can sip on the heat core like a J and the cloud is still good.

Heat core is a step back of the tempest, what makes tempest 2 are those balls, it consider as portable ball vape. No one talks about “metal vape” right? It turns itself into a Dynavap, which is a step back.
Which one is more baller?
I am trying different setting temperature with YLL 3.0, none of them can recreate the tornado cloud. It’s even a chance to produce somewhat similar?

I notice it gets very hot when cooling down the tip with the reloader2, to a point where it’s hot to touch. So I stored some weed there it’s the reason why it loses potency because it’s cooking the weed inside the reloader?
