Dremel time
25 minutes with the brass brush at about fifty percent. Took the sleeve from a really loud red to a more matte and chill orange/red. I definitely prefer the new look.

Looking for Ruby balls
Hey there
Im looking for replace The standart balls on my t2 for Ruby 3 mm ans maybe try another choice like ss balls
Im from Brazil and unfortunately the shipping coast is very expensive if I got from the UK mad heaters store or USA like v goodies store
So I'm planning to buy from AliExpress, and I would like to know if it's safe ( healthy safe) and if will work to use the 3 mm ball ruby from stores in AliExpress.

Tempest 2, what is the full bowl setting?
I feel like this is a silly question, but is the full bowl when the screen is fully bottomed out? MY understanding is the two indents are for the half and small size.
Just want to make sure there is no reason I can't have the screen all the way at the bottom.

Is my T2 head faulty?
After soaking in ISO for 5 mins and then cleaning with a Q-Tip its almost like the metal is rubbing off, if you see the colour on the q-tip surely it shouldnt be that colour from just the outside?

YLL 3 set up wrong?
Hey people,
I just got my YLL 3 yesterday and figured this would be the correct way to put together the inserts with the spacer. Strangely, when I use it like this, there is a small flag of smoke that does not come from the device but as if i were burning something when heating?
I stopped immediately of course, but cannot seem to figure it out, while I do not find any manual explaining how to do this. Would be grateful for any help.

Not sure what’s wrong with my Tempest 2
I love my Tempest 2, but lately it hasn’t been working. I use the YLL…lately Ive been using the induction heater like normal and then I go to take a pull and I don’t get anything! idk what’s going on. I changed the screen and gave it a good wash, still no luck.
could I have closed something? this is pretty frustrating.

Evergreen 56 Case
Contributing my Evergreen 56 Layout.
For this version, I used 2x 1/2 inch sheets of adhesive back closed cell foam, and an X-Acto knife. The sheets of foam were stacked on top of one another, with different cutouts sets to different heights for each component . The bottom layer only has a cut out for the YLL to allow it to sit deeper into the case, and then the second layer has cut ls out for all of the components.
The layout and use of the Evergreen 56 were great suggestions from other users in the sub.
Two features
of my layout that I think are useful are 1) purposeful notch that allows you to grab the YLL out of a tight form fit hold, which then doubles as a opening to allow for the usb cord to access the YLL without removing it from the case. And 2) the dual depth layer of the foam makes it so the YLL is always tightly held by the evergreen case, even when the reload and tempest case are removed.
I have some access to some high-end 3-D printers, and also a CNC machine through my work. Considering where to take this design next.
