Im trying to set up a husky tote with a gasket as a humidor

I know coolers are better but for my storage situation this box fits perfectly and I dont really have room for a cooler

I cleaned it, dried it out, cleaned it a second time, aired out again. Let it sit full of baking soda for 3 days then i packed it full of empty cigar boxes and some boveda seasoning boxes to let them absorb some humidity

The Bluetooth sensor reads 70 thinks all is good so I open the box to check the wood, dude this thing smells rank as shit

Not even plastic it just smells rank.

Idk what's going on with it or what i did wrong
