Melbourne couple F44/M45 after a genuine connection (and a reality check at the Pineapple Club)
Finally went to the Pineapple Club last night out of curiosity. Didn’t really know what to expect, just figured we’d check it out.
The tour was good, people were lovely, had a few drinks and a chat, all pretty relaxed. When it came time to head upstairs, we both sort of paused, looked at each other and had a very quick “yeah… nah” moment.
Finished our drinks, went home and basically laughed the whole way about how fast we both bailed once it was actually happening. Ended up talking most of the drive about what actually works for us instead.
We realised it’s more just the simple stuff for us. Chemistry, that bit of sexual tension, flirting, easy laughs and that feeling where you actually want to keep talking to someone.
Earlier this year we had a FWB situation with a woman that just worked without much overthinking. The chemistry was there, the friendship was easy and everything just flowed. She’s now in a relationship, but it showed us what we enjoy.
