"Ah heroes. Who hasn't heard of at least a few of them? Usually coming from humble beginnings, they rose to the challenge and killed dragons, vanquished evil litches put a stop to one of several world ending events. Statues are erected in their names, and their stories are passed down from generation to generation. What a life that must be... Fame, glory, riches... anyone you could ever want... Thinking about it... What's really stopping me from being the next one? I have a sword at home... I think... and there's that temple to... uhmm.. whatshername... you know... the goddess of... of... wheat, was it? Anyway, she sounds chill, maybe I can go prove myself to her and earn her blessings. Yeah, I think I'm going to do that"
Those were pretty much the lad's last words. Sure, sure, there was probably some screaming and yelling right before the dragon ate him, but honestly, he should have known better than to try and face a dragon with a rusty pitchfork. What was he expecting? To kill him from an infection? In any case, this story is not about him, just as it isn't about the countless people that got too carried away by these legends. But they are the catalyst.

As most of you out there, I do love a good drama with a healthy dose of angst, and this story can certainly still include moments like this but.. lately I've felt like trying something different. I had this dream I barely half remember revolving around the idea of guide for inexperienced adventurers, and why not, a deterrent for those stupid enough to take every legend at face value.
There's multiple ways we could start this. Maybe this project was one of our character's ideas. Maybe the king summoned the most skilled people in the kingdom... or maybe they're actually the 18th attempt after all previous, more qualified parties got killed and they're just scrapping the bottom of the barrel by now. We can of course eventually introduce an overarching plot, a new world-ending threat that will conveniently and happily wait for the heroes to finish every side quest and scrap of optional content. Nothing says Big Bad like waiting for the protagonists to overlevel and get every legendary piece of equipment before putting the final step of their plan in motion.
Whatever the case, someone decided enough was enough and that they couldn't live with any more dying senselessly... not if they could help in some way, and so, the idea for this book was born:
Dangers Unknown: Manual for Mastering Important Expeditionary Skills.
What do you mean we should maybe reconsider re-doing the name? What's wrong with this one?

Hey everyone! Nice to meet you all, and if you read through that little setting, thank you for your time! I'm 33M living in GMT-3. While I don't care about where you are, please be older than 18, ideally closer to my age.
I have about 4-5 years if experience. I write in 3rd person past tense and while I'm more than capable of going past discord limit, I much prefer dynamic lengths, as not every reply needs an encyclopedia worth of text. As long as it's not a one-liner, I'm not here to word count your replies.
And yes, I'm fully aware that a non-dramatic, non-dairy plot is not most people's preference, so if you liked the general idea but would prefer to remove the satire elements, I believe this could still work very well without poking fun at the genre, so don't be afraid to ask.
As for the tropes, oh boy, we could do forced collaboration, strangers/enemies to lovers, happy-optimistic vs sarcastic-broody... And if we decide to play at least 2 characters each, then we could play around with even more ideas.
Now, I'd like to apologize before hand, as maybe you made it this far with actual interest, only to come face to face with this next bit.
I know a lot of you enjoy them, but I'm really, really not interested in doing anything spicy with monsters (they will absolutely exist in the world, but I'm not interested in writing any kind of monster smut).
Just for clarity, I'm ok with you playing some fantasy races like tieflings, elves or something mostly human but with animal ears or a tail or wings. Just not hucows, orcs, goblins, futas or Anthros. Shifters and werewolves are also ok, as long as their animal state is not brought and used in spicy scenes. (For reference, one potential character is a werewolf, but I don't and will never write scenes with him in werewolf form)
I'm also not particularly into anything pregnancy related (and even less into anything involving eggs), heavy or permanent damage in a sexual way, watersports, scat, musk, vore, inhuman body parts and/or sizes... you get where this is going. If you liked the idea but need to include any of these, I'm really sorry but I'm not the partner for you.
For those of you that need daily, or even multiple replies per day, I'm sorry too. I work, I have a wife (who knows and is completely ok with me writing smut with a partner), two dogs and other hobbies. Life happens and creativity doesn't always strike when I'm free. Sometimes you'll get a couple replies in a few hours, sometimes it may take a week to just get one. Of course this goes both ways, and I won't be bugging you about your replies. Take all the time you need. I much rather quality replies over rushed or uninspired ones.
And no, I didn't forget about my kinks. If you need a few for reference, I'd say: spanking, rough sex, love making, cum on face/mouth/tits, oral (both ways) anal(giving), teasing... I know, super basic, but the thing is, I've just recently learned that I'm into a lot more stuff than I thought, and it really depends on both my partner and the chemistry and dynamic between our characters. So, even if a particular kink doesn't really do much for me, if it does for you and as long as it's not one of my limits, please bring it up and we can discuss it. At worst, I may need a little explanation or an example. Apparently I'm a quick learner.
Regarding characters, we can play with one character each, or have a few (the most I've done in a single story is handling 3 "main", distinct characters, plus a few extras and npcs). I have both M and F characters, which is why I made this A4F, and I'm looking for MxF for the guys, and for the girls I only do FxF pairings.
I love getting to know my partners, brainstorming ideas, sharing memes, songs, pics of my dogs (if you like them), and I work for customer support, so I can also provide funny random interactions with generally very stupid or entitled people. This should go without saying but unfortunately there's enough subs out there about rp horror stories, so, I'm not looking for an ooc relationship aside from a potential friendship. The most you'll likely see of me is a finger or knee on the corner of a picture of the dogs, or of something I cooked (one of those hobby thingies I mentioned before) and I won't be asking about pictures of you (though if you are having something yummy, or just something you made or a traditional food from wherever you are, those are always welcome)
I'm probably forgetting stuff but if you actually made it this far... You're honestly awesome. Please feel free to ask anything you want, and hopefully we can create something we can both enjoy!
