32[M4F][Minneapolis, MN] Flying In for SummerSlam and Winging the Rest
So I um bought a plane ticket and from July 29th through August 2nd I’ll be in Minneapolis for SummerSlam.
Now if you’re wondering whether I’ve ever been to Minneapolis before, the answer is no.
Did I do any research before buying the ticket?
Also no.
See, SummerSlam has been on my bucket list for years and I got tired of saying maybe next year and just bought the damn tickets.
So now I’m flying to a city I’ve never been to and pretty much winging the rest of the trip. Which, now that I think about it, is pretty much how most of my questionable decisions start.
Last time I traveled, I somehow ended up doing karaoke with a bunch of strangers.
I still have no idea how that happened.
One minute I was minding my own business, the next I was singing with people I’d never met before.
So based on previous experiences, I’m pretty confident Minneapolis is going to come up with some random adventure too.
A little about me. I’m 32, 5’9, around 190 lbs, from Texas, and a giant nerd.
I quote movies, anime, TikToks, old Vines, and whatever random thing my brain decides to remember at the worst possible time.
I play guitar, ukulele, know a few magic tricks, and occasionally start singing for absolutely no reason. Don’t worry, I was in choir, so it’s at least somewhat tolerable.
If you’re a wrestling fan, awesome.
If you’re going to SummerSlam too, even better.
If you’re not into wrestling, that’s okay too. I promise it’s not my entire personality.

Anyways, it’d be cool to meet some people while I’m there. Maybe we grab food. Maybe we explore. Maybe we find some random place that ends up being the highlight of the trip.
Maybe we become friends.
Maybe we end up talking for hours.
Maybe we hook up.
Maybe we realize after 10 minutes we have absolutely nothing in common and go our separate ways.
Who knows.
As far as what I’m looking for, I’m pretty open. Someone easy to talk to, who doesn’t take themselves too seriously, and is up for seeing where things go. Physical preferences aren’t a huge deal to me. I care a lot more about whether we click than whether you fit some specific type.
I’m not really putting any pressure on it. I’m already going for SummerSlam. Meeting someone cool would just be a bonus.
