Things got a little out of hand, and we ended up in bed together. I, of course, thought it was just a one-night stand that didn’t matter—until a month later when I found out I was pregnant. I knew I had to tell you, but I was terrified. You were famous, and I was just a city girl who had dropped out of university and now worked at a gym as a personal trainer. We were different people, you were confident and outgoing while I was more reserved but the more time I spent with you the more I came out of my shell. You were a year a head of me but everybody thought that once we both graduated that we would end up getting married someday. That didn't happen though. You went off to college on a football scholarship and broke up with me in the meantime. You wanted a fresh start, not to have a girlfriend waiting around for you at home.
