Is it just me or have POT SDs been really flaky lately?

I made a Seeking account and started talking to a few people, and one seemed really promising. We had good chemistry, even FaceTimed, and set up a meet and greet. He confirmed everything and was texting me up until like 30 minutes before.
I drove about an hour to Charlotte for this and spent hours getting ready. Hair( which took even longer bc i was wearing it in its natural state), makeup, shaving, everything. I was actually excited to meet him.
Then 30 minutes before he texts me saying, “I’m so sorry, I don’t think I can do this…”
I just blocked him after that. It honestly blew me how little people care about your time and effort.

Has anyone else been dealing with this more lately or did I just get unlucky?

Hi all! I’m pretty new to bowl and wanted to ask about something I’ve been noticing on Seeking. A lot of the men messaging me seem to want something more like a FWB setup than a real connection. Is that just how the site is now, is there something about my profile that’s drawing that in, or maybe it’s my location(major metro in the southeast). I’ve explicitly stated that an emotional connection is a must before any physical intimacy.

I’d love any honest insight!!
