I've been following the guides for finding a provider on this sub and on r/SexWorkers. If I actually follow the methods outlined there and search for socials, ad history, or reviews, I can barely find any FS providers who actually meet that criteria charging less than $800/hour. Most are $1k/hour or more (I've been using tryst). But what confuses me is I've seen posts on this sub from clients in the NYC area saying $600/hour is high.

Am I doing something wrong here and overpaying? Or is this just the going rate for independents in this area? Would appreciate if anyone in the NYC area could let me DM them some other questions too.
