So first time getting prescribed this and what is up with no chemist keeping stock of it?? They said I need to order it in?? Anyone had issues?

Guys I take Sublocade monthly and my GP has just advised that they’re ceasing sublocade in Australia as of November??? Wtf??? This thing has saved my life and I am anxious now and at a loss. Anyone hear anything?? WTF!!!

So I have a regular doctor that prescribes panadeine forte for a painful chronic medical condition. He prescribes a script every 2 months. When he is busy I have another dr in another medial centre who also knows my issues and gives me Panadeine occasionally. It’s not a weekly, fortnightly, evenly monthly occurrence. I went to my drs last week and he was giving me my usual scrips and as he went to click on panadeine a red exclamation mark popped up that said I’m at risk? He essentially said it means I’m Dr shopping and have several drs prescribing this. But wtf?? The rule used to be 4 different drs within 90 days are they getting more strict? I only have two drs and a specialist but the specialist gives me the codeine with nurofen the very small dose which I don’t even bother with because it doesn’t help.

I don’t want to ruin my relationship with my dr so I was honest and said I only have 1 other GP that I go to when I can’t get in with you. He said there might be a mistake and to call them. Anyone been in this situation?
