People on TikTok are actually insufferable RANT

Sorry in advance if this isn’t allowed here, but every once in a blue moon I’ll see a video pop up about TBD (which is great, I wish it was talked about more!) but half the comments are always FILLED with arrogant uneducated women.

And when you try to educate them, they just get so mad?

Like I get the commenters point to a degree about male centered fields, but simultaneously, YES! TBD does impact the breasts function! And then going on to say “well many with it breast feed just fine” like that matters? What about those who don’t? What about the obvious link between TBD and the struggle to breast feed?

Lack of glandular tissue = lack of milk ducts = lower chance of milk production. It’s not rocket science 🤦‍♀️

Areolas puffy / conical when soft post-op

Obviously, I’ll take the puffy areolas when soft over tubular breasts any day. BUT, it’s still something I’m a bit unhappy with. Since my breasts are soft the majority of the time, it makes them look conical underneath shirts / tanks.

I didn’t have this ‘issue’ prior to surgery. My areolas were just very large—not puffy / conical.

Has anyone else experienced this post peri-areolar incision + reduction? The photos don’t even do it full justice—they’re even more dramatic irl.

Is this something that’ll gradually change as I continue to heal? Or is it something I’ll essentially have to just accept as a trade-off, in a sense? Surgery was March 4th.
