Already feeling discouraged because of a hate comment (Lewdtuber)
I’m a Vtuber and I have been streaming for 4 months. Yesterday my bf and I decided I could kinda explore the lewd side of it, aka Lewdtubing. I made a fansly and I was proud and excited. I had some goals in mind like posting NSFW art, using NSFW model assets on my model, ERPS and sexting in DMS, but mostly doing tame stuff. No NSFW streams as I live with family, am disabled and can’t afford an NSFW nude model. I also don’t feel comfortable with posting nudes as again.. I have an abusive family who took my phone once for doing that. So I did what most people do and tell my community about it and also Reddit. I linked my fansly and did the usual (https://www.reddit.com/r/VirtualYoutubers/s/qtsML64Dt2). Everyone took it well and even my community members were willing to support me despite some limitations and boundaries. However I had one annoying comment on that post and when I replied they kept simply being an asshole.. this made me argue with them which is a long thread. Saying it’s “pointless” and that I should be expected to post my nude body, cosplay and irl stuff. The point of Vtubing is to be anonymous so why should I? A vtuber I follow named Camila is basically doing lewd art and animations with her 3D model and is that not “pointless”? Why am I being forced to do stuff I don’t like.. Anyways after a while I did add audios and proved it to him to which he accused me of lying. It turned into a big argument which made me so hurt and discouraged..
Like bro just sat there nitpicking everything I did and now I really want to try my best to get the money so I can appease people and have good content. I really just hate when people do that. Constructive criticism is fine, but just sitting there and being a blatant asshole is not. I try my best and the artist I have is working on as much NSFW art for me as possible and I want to also commission more art.
Anyways, I’m sorry for this lengthy paragraph I just wanna see what everyone thinks. I thought my bj video was good too :(
