Bait and switch or standard practice?
Throwaway account for anonymity.
Last night I hired an escort in the US for the first time (off Tryst). I thought we had agreed on a rate of $500 for an hour. When she arrived and I paid her, she explained that that was just to get her in the door -- anything more would require a "tip," preferably several times the initial payment. I reluctantly paid another $300 for a poor covered BJ that did nothing for me.
In retrospect, I should have been clearer about what I thought I was paying for (an hour of full service). But I sure feel like I got bait-and-switched. Is this standard practice? I'm angry at her because I feel like I got scammed, angry at myself for wasting a chunk of money, and frustrated because I'm reluctant to hire anyone again for fear of the same thing happening.
